Creativity has always been part of my life. One of my earliest memories is as a seven-year-old, illustrating, and decorating poems and stories that I was writing in a small exercise book. This continued throughout my childhood, so by the time I was a teenager, Graphic Design looked like a logical career path. I studied and worked in the field for more than ten years, until realizing that I was yearning for meaning and purpose in my artwork and that led me to my on-going journey in the field of Art Therapy.

Working in Art Therapy helps me to use reflection as a practical skill in my own art making. It has taught me to see things from different perspectives, put aside my past intentions and to bring the past, present and future into the tapestry of my contemporary artwork.
